Last week, our Nataliia Vasileva attended the MicrosoftAITour in Brussels — an event that brought together voices from across industries to explore how AI is already shaping the way we work, think, and innovate.

One standout session was led by Hermien Heveraet who presented “AI at Work: Unlock Value & Opportunity with Microsoft & Agents.” She shared how tools like Copilot and AI agents are helping businesses improve workflows and increase productivity. What made this session particularly impactful was the focus on real-life examples — clear, practical use cases that demonstrated the real value of AI beyond the hype.

Another highlight was the fireside chat on “Belgian Innovation in AI”, featuring leaders from NMBS, Umicore, Syensqo and Puratos.

The discussion was honest and insightful, addressing not only the opportunities AI presents, but also the real challenges organizations face when scaling and implementing these technologies.

It was refreshing to hear not just the success stories, but also the recognition of the persistence and strategic thinking required to turn ideas into reality. “It was encouraging to focus on what’s working now — not just what’s possible. The event offered a grounded view of how AI can create real impact when applied thoughtfully,” — Nataliia says.
